Therapy Dogs
Our Therapy Dogs
We brought Laser into our lives in the summer of 2018. He is a fluffy and loving Goldendoodle. Laser is a certified Therapy Dog, trained by the professionals at Paramount Dog Training. Laser became such a big hit at SDLA and our patient enjoyed the relaxation he offered so much, that we decided to bring on a second dog in 2019. Mercury is equally loving and on his way to earning his Therapy Dog Certification.
At Strongsville Dental and Laser Aesthetics, our approach has always been to offer an all-around exceptional experience for our patients. It is well documented that dental visits rank high as one of the many stressful things in one’s life.

Dr. Chris Theodorou, Angela Pierce & Laser – Strongsville Dental & Laser Aesthetics’ Therapy Dog Approach
It is well documented that a trip to the dentist is a major fear for many people. Statistics show that between 9% and 20% of Americans avoid going to the dentist because of anxiety or fear. Most people will simply wait until the pain gets so bad that they have no choice but to go. Here in northeast Ohio, one dentist came up with a solution to curb these fears and he is the first to do it. His solution has four legs, great hair, and a terrific bedside manner. Today, Alexa and Matt were joined by Dr. Chris Theodorou of Strongsville Laser & Dental Aesthetics, Laser, the practice therapy dog, and Laser’s trainer, Angela Pierce, of Paramount Dog Training to tell you all about it.
